Smithsonian Donation Boxes

When approached by the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History with a request to redesign their donation boxes we were excited to tap into the massive diversity of natural forms accessible to the museum. We imagined a series of essential the deformed siblings of “normal” donation receptacles. The materials would be familiar but everything else about these boxes from their texture to their interactivity would be new and hopefully compelling to visitors.
